On occasion, visitors have accused us of being certifiable, and we are pleased to announce that it's true - another member of our team, Vansh Singh, has earned his certification in Macromedia ColdFusion MX. Besides adorning his cubicle wall with new sheepskins (in his spare time), Vansh employs and extends the Counterpoint Systems content management tools to build state-of-the-art websites.

Our website development framework is a model of its own, so we used it to develop a new presence for Cunningham Escott Slevin Doherty Talent Agency (AKA CESD). We utilized a step-wise approach, first porting their archive data onto our servers, then replacing the application for managing content and finally updating the outside display.

It was certainly no 'Ed Wood' effort to re-build the Academy Players Directory, but we did it. Starting with a large database of actors and a mature administration system, we, well, started over. The data made it across, but the tools and display are all new at Players Directory. Now hopefully someone will just cast us in something besides a B movie...

Information Design was our founding mantra, and sometimes you have to get back to your roots. In our 2004 update for Mikasa Sports, we revisited the goals for the site and determined that it was time to split out catalog and commerce into two sites: Mikasa Sports and Mikasa Sports Outlet. Sure, the look is new and modern, but the underlying flow is greatly enhanced too.
